Collaboration

Collaboration with my clients is the crowning act of creating an instrument. Only in the hands of a musician is a new instrument’s potential fulfilled. Coming together with a player to refine the developing tone is a joyous partnership which is always a delightful, surprising, and enlightening journey.

Another form of collaboration is commissioning an instrument to address specific desires. This process begins with discussing your needs, selection of the wood, and the creation of a new instrument, which would usually takes at least one year from initiation of the project.
